The Four Freedoms, articulated in 1941 by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, are about four fundamental freedoms that people “everywhere in the world” ought to enjoy: speech, worship, want and fear. In 2023, more and more citizens will not experience (one of) these freedoms. It is often the (absolute) power of governing institutions over the people which develops a dominating frame with rules and regulations. It then leaves the citizen with hardly any breathing space, creativity and freedom in its living world.
This rectangle archival pigment print of the city canvas with Pantone® colours Black 6c (system world) and Terra Cotta (citizen) is perfect for a modern, classic and reflective look in home and office interiors. It is an urgent reminder of how rules and regulations reduce freedom and creativity. The Pantone® colour Bright White (living world) is missing.
