Information about the city infrastructure can be found on every wall and every corner. Signs which tell us a lot about in this case the underground. Sometimes the palette can be almost a form of art. The blue, silver and white send quietness in composition.
No smoking
No smoking can be a relevant message. On the ferry Calais-Dover the sign is almost a form of art in this colour and shade palette. It is a silent reminder for those who develop promises for the year to come.
Les couleurs de Normandie
Staand in Honfleur voor een eenvoudig huisje ontdek ik, met mijn neus op de details van deur en muur, het rijke palet aan patronen en structuren. De details zijn mogelijk als een vorm van kunst te duiden.
Het muurtje straalt eenvoud uit en is tegelijkertijd toch ook zo rijk geschakeerd in een haast perfecte match van materialen. Maar de kleuren! Die komen pas echt bij me binnen. Ils sont les couleurs de Normandie.

Door Palette
A bus stop actually can deliver a surprising palette of colours and materials. Here in the city of Breda (my city). Great design: wood, polyester and metal form this unique combination. The light brown, gray and silver palette is clean, neat and organised. It is interacting with the evening light.
