De mystiek van Fort de Roovere, als digitale expressie. De inspiratie is afkomstig van een foto van Cees Verheijen, lid van de fotoclub van Heemkundekring Halchterth, te Halsteren. Het landschap hier is erg gevarieerd. Het is een historische plek, van de strijd voor autonomie en tegen de Spanjaarden. Nu is het werkelijk een prachtig landschap.

The mystique of Fort de Roovere, expressed digitally. The inspiration comes from a photograph by Cees Verheijen, a member of the photography club of the Halchterth Local History Society in Halsteren. The landscape here is extremely varied. It is a historic site, associated with the struggle for autonomy and against the Spanish. Today, it is truly a beautiful landscape.

Kleur is รฉcht nodig voor een reset en restart. De krantekoppen schetsen een beeld van een donker bos waarin wij lijken te zijn beland. Onze publieke waarden in de samenleving en de natuur staan onder grote druk.

Een impressie. Mijn penseel toont zich als vanzelf. Het begint hier, op deze plek in het bos, waar het zonlicht plots doordringt en zijn regenboog toont. Zelfs voor hen die zijn verwijderd omdat er geen plek meer was, kleurt het licht opnieuw. Het is hier, waar je bomen weer ziet die het bos vormen. Het is hier waar respect voor hen die waren een nieuwe impuls krijgt.

Ontzag voor de Sequoia sempervirens, de kustmammoetboom, in รฉรฉn van de wouden in Californiรซ. De wolf leeft in deze bossen en accentueert de indrukwekkende omvang van deze boom.

Awe-inspiring views of theย Sequoia sempervirens, the coastal redwood, in one of Californiaโ€™s forests. The wolf inhabits these woods and highlights the treeโ€™s impressive size.

Lentebos De Roovere

De lente dient zich aan in het eiken-berkenbos op de hoge zandgronden rondom Fort de Roovere. Het geaccidenteerde terrein vormt als het ware de achterzijde, de landzijde van de Brabantse Wal. Het prille frisgroen van de berken- en eikenblaadjes is een paasfeest op zichzelf. En nog steeds geen Spanjaard te zien…

Spring is in the air in the oak and birch forest on the high sandy soils surrounding Fort de Roovere. The undulating terrain forms, as it were, the rear, the landward side of the Brabantse Wal. The fresh, vibrant green of the birch and oak leaves is a celebration in itself. And still not a Spaniard in sight…
