Living World Canvas

Philosopher Jürgen Habermas distinguishes the living world and the system world. In the first, people and teams live and communicate between equals, based on arguments and without power. It is the world where love and friendship are leading and daily life dominates. Here it is expressed as a white canvas, in fact the chess board on which we are born, walk, live and die.

In the system world the instrumental rationality is used and says or dictates what and who is necessary to achieve a goal or to carry out a task. It is the world of rules and regulations. It is the other world, represented as a black canvas, here in the background and not dominant.

This rectangle archival pigment print of the city canvas with Pantone® Bright White and Pantone® Black 6c in the background is perfect for a modern, classic and reflective look in home and office interiors. It is a reminder on the wall, that the playing field of life for all of us starts with a clean palette to live our dreams and give creativity and colour to the world.

Connected

In the old town of Hondarribia, Spain, this fine wiring pattern forms the infrastructure for connecting streets, houses and people. Quite a palette. Straight forward and essential.

Two Neighbours

In the old center of Verona we came along this palette of two neighbours. Number 8 and number 10. It is almost a painting where materials tell their stories.

Verona classic

During I visit to the inner city of Verona this classic wall we passed in a small street. Quit a colour palette. Authentic. It is almost a form of art. The balance of its geometrics gives peace of mind.  Just this piece of wall.

Renewed Insight

Walking through the streets of Lucca, we saw this piece of renewed insight. Change of perspective, change of window. This wall tells its story.
