Incredible new works from Joanne Hastie from Vancouver. The forest is really in the centre. What a colourful work. It is as if you were there this very morning.
The painting is in Mount Seymour’s “Greenland” trail in North Vancouver. The artist: “A glowing magenta sky filters through tall evergreens, casting warm morning light on the vivid yellow lichen below. Inspired by early mountain bike rides, this painting captures the quiet anticipation of a new day—before the trail gets busy and the forest fully wakes up.”

Beeld van de gezichtsbepalende boerderij in Halsteren: ’t Lindeke. Deze boerderij heb ik geschilderd in de status van 1963. De weilanden in het beeld van rond 1900. Mijn overgrootvader Jan (de Kuper) Kruf vertelde mij als jongetje de verhalen over de bloemrijke weilanden in Halsteren aan het begin van de 20ste eeuw. Voor mij een iconisch beeld.
